ABOUT ME

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience treating adults who struggle with issues related to depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties and stress.

I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University and completed my undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition to providing psychological services, I've also spent time as a professor in the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University.

I believe that thoughts, feelings and behaviors are intensely related and thus approach my work from a strongly Cognitive Behavioral foundation. In addition, I have a passion for incorporating Positive Psychology to facilitate the use of personal strengths, values and meaningful relationships to help individuals not only solve psychological ‘problems’, but enhance wellness and life satisfaction simultaneously. Although psychotherapy can be a challenging and intense process, I believe that it should also be enjoyable. I do my best to incorporate enthusiasm, healthy optimism and humor in order to foster a balanced working relationship with my clients.
